Tara was born in Clarenville Newfoundland and was raised in a little community called Bunyan’s Cove until the age of 9 when her parents moved the family to Brampton, Ontario.
At the age of 15, her and her family made the decision to move back home to Newfoundland where she would finish high school.
Once graduated, she continued her education, then moved to Alberta to pursue her career, and where she met her husband. Tara was an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, which she enjoyed, but her secret passion was to be in a business where she can cook, and provide some Eastern hospitality to all, so when the opportunity of Purchasing Freezerland arose, the passion and dream started to become a reality.
Tara will be operating the Freezerland Takeout which is coming soon!
“Thank you all for being so supportive in this transition, and I cannot wait for you all to be apart of this journey with me!”
Michael was born in Clarenville, Newfoundland and was raised in the small community of Bunyan’s Cove until the age of 6, when him and the family moved to Brampton Ontario.
As a young child, Michael enjoyed spending his time around his family and friends, and with anything with a motor.
If you asked Michael when he was young what he wanted to be when he grew up, his answer was always a business owner. Once he graduated high school, he pursued his dreams and worked hard to establish his goal of owning a business.
No matter where life and business took him, Newfoundland was always in his heart, a Proud Newfoundlander. When the opportunity arose to purchase Freezerland Newfoundland Inc. he didn’t hesitate, as he wanted the Newfoundland heritage to continue in Ontario.
“Thank you by’s for the continuing support of Freezerland, drop in for yarn!”

David was born and raised in Mississauga Ontario until the age of 12, when he moved to Alberta.
David always enjoyed spending time with family and friends as a child, and loved to spend time at his family Cottage in Muskoka.
He always had a love and passion for sports, especially hockey. He wore his first pair of skates at just a year old, and grew up idolizing his God Father, Dave Keon.
David didn’t know too much about Newfoundland until he met his Wife Tara, and fully embraced the Newfoundland Heritage, and was thrilled to be apart of Freezerland, to keep the heritage going in Ontario.
“Looking forward to meeting you all, and thank you all for being so welcoming, I’m thrilled to be apart of this new adventure.” - David Nicholson
